Centre Info

The rooms have been brightly decorated with colours that are calming and not overpowering to create a conducive, learning environment. The centre has been equipped with high quality toys and resources that have been age appropriately selected for the children in our care. The centre has a separate babies area with a sleep room. We are currently in the process of having air-conditioning installed in the whole centre which is due to be complete by the end of April 2014.

Another feature of the centre is the kitchen where 3 meals per day are prepared for children. Our cook has obtained a Food Handling Safety certification and comes with years of experience in the food service industry. Menus will be displayed for parents in the rooms on a weekly basis and we encourage parent suggestions for this area. Food will be of a “home-cooked” meal quality and no deep fried or frozen foods allowed. We order our food fresh daily from the butcher, baker and green grocer. We value the importance of good nutrition for children and as such offer your child only the highest quality in food service.

The centre has been created to provide an extraordinary environment where children can learn about the natural world around them in the natural setting in which the centre has been built. The adventure playground has been created with the ideology that children thrive with fresh air and physical activity. The outdoor area also has a large under cover sandpit and vegetable garden. The playground has been developed with more than adequate space for children to run and kick a ball without interfering with other children and their play. There have been quiet areas set up to allow children time to be alone and watch the clouds floating by. There is also a separate babies outdoor play area to enable them to explore in a secure, safe environment.

Our centre would not be complete without a chicken coop where children can feed, pet and care for chickens and learn about where their food really comes from.
